Out of my entire week I had two days to go out and be a tourist, sadly. I would go back instantly. The first day I went to Tel Aviv, a hip, trendy, young, traffic filled city with a cool vibe and international feel. The next time I had a moment to take off I went to Jerusalem, mostly because I knew everyone would ask. Though it didn't last long, the other tourists and gift shops were too much to handle.
There is such an overwhelmingly huge market in tourism, that most old sites are under construction. I wish I had made it to these places before their makeover.
